Aurubis produces copper cathodes and uses them to produce various copper products at its production sites in Europe and the U.S. Co. also has service and sales system for copper products in Europe, Asia and North America. Co. is divided into three segments: Primary Copper, which unites the activities concerned with the production of copper in the form of marketable copper cathodes from the primary raw material, copper concentrates as well as produces sulfuric acid; Recycling/Precious Metals, which produces copper cathodes from recycling raw materials, and produces precious metals and other by-metals; and Copper Products, which processes cathodes into copper products and markets them.
