Co. makes loans which have primarily been secured by real estate mortgages, or in the case of corporate loans, generally are senior within the corporate structure. Co. categorizes its investments into four security types: Corporate Loans Receivable; Commercial Loans Receivable; Life Insurance Settlements; and Equity Investments.
