SPDR S&P Bank is an open-end investment management company. The Fund seeks to closely match the returns and characteristics of the S&P Banks Select Industry Index. The S&P Banks Select Industry Index is a float adjusted modified-market, capitalization-weighted index that seeks to reflect the performance of publicly traded companies that do business as banks or thrifts. The Fund invests all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities consisting of the Index. As of June 30 2015, the Fund's total assets and investment portfolio totaled $3,316,000,075 and $3,311,038,085, respectively.
