Murata Manufacturing is mainly engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of electronic components and communication modules. Along with its affiliates, Co. operates in three business segments. Components segment offers multilayer ceramic capacitors, inductors, and EMI (electromagnetic interference) suppression filters. Devices and Modules segment offers SAW filters, RF modules, multilayer ceramic devices, connectors, connectivity modules, multilayer resin substrates, lithium-ion secondary batteries, power supplies modules, sensors, and timing devices (resonators). Others segment is engaged in the machinery manufacturing, the provision of healthcare devices, and the software business.
