Maruwa is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic substrates and electronic components. Along with its subsidiaries, Co. operates in two business segments. Ceramic Parts segment offers ceramic substrate, such as alumina substrate, aluminum nitride substrate, derivative ceramic and others; electronic components and devices, such as power inductor, multi-layer ceramic capacitor and chip varistor; and high purity and high precision quartz glass parts for semiconductor field, compound semiconductor field and optical fiber field. Lighting Equipment segment provides roads and street lights, and LED lighting equipment and LED modules for building exterior and interior.
