Neuberger Berman Municipal Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from regular federal income tax and, for each state-specific fund, current income exempt from that state's personal income taxes (and in the case of the New York Fund, New York City personal income tax). The Fund invests primarily in intermediate-term municipal bonds. As of Oct 31 2017, the Fund's total investments were $467,478,000 and its assets totaled $474,997,000.
