Public Power Corp is a vertically intergrated electric utility engaged in electricity generation, transmission and distribution throughout Greece. Co. generates electricity in its own power generating stations of Co., from its wholly owned subsidiaries Lignitiki Melitis S.A. and Lignitiki Megalopolis S.A., and from the additional stations Wind Parks, Small Hydro Power Plants and Photovoltaic Plants. Co. distributes electricity to consumers through its own distribution lines for Medium and Low voltage of 240,100 km and 993 km Network of High Voltage lines that are managed by its wholly owned subsidiary Hellenic Distribution Network Operator.
