Sabine Oil & Gas is an oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development, and exploration of oil and natural gas properties onshore in the U.S. Co.'s properties are primarily focused in three main geographic areas: East Texas, targeting the Cotton Valley Sand and Haynesville Shale formations; South Texas, targeting the Eagle Ford Shale formation; and North Texas, targeting the Granite Wash formation. As of Dec 31 2015, Co. had estimated proved reserves of 701.80 billion cubic feet equivalent, consisted of 9.2 million barrels of oil, 22.0 million barrels of natural gas liquids, and 514.30 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
