PowerShares S&P Low Volatility Portfolio is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that generally correspond to the price and yield of the S&P 500® Low Volatility Index. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the underlying index. Volatility is a statistical measurement of the magnitude of up and down asset price fluctuations over time. It generally invests in all of the securities comprising the underlying index in proportion to their weightings in the underlying index. As of Oct 31 2013, the Fund's total assets were $4,035,725,977 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $3,974,798,904.
