Southern Pacific Resource is engaged in the exploration of in-situ oilsands properties located in northern Alberta, Canada and developes and produces heavy oil, conventional petroleum and natural gas in Western Canada. As of June 30 2010, Co. had total proved light and medium oil reserves of 45 thousand barrels (Mbbl) gross (39 Mbbl net), total proved natural gas reserves of 830 million cubic feet (MMcf) gross (757 MMcf net), total proved natural gas liquids reserves of 1 Mbbl gross (1 Mbbl net) and total proved heavy oil reserves of 6,642 Mbbl gross (5,677 Mbbl net).
