Unigold is a development stage company and is in the process of exploring its mineral properties in the Dominican Republic. The recoverability of the carrying value of exploration properties is dependent upon the preservation of Co.'s interest in the underlying properties, the discovery of economically recoverable reserves, the achievement of profitable operations, or the ability of Co. to raise alternative financing, if necessary, or alternatively upon the Co.'s ability to dispose of its interests on an advantageous basis.
