Auscan Resources is a mineral exploration company which, directly and through joint ventures, is engaged in locating, acquiring, exploring and, if warranted, developing mineral resource properties, and holds varying interests in metals and diamond properties in Canada. Co. has not determined whether these properties contain ore reserves which are economically recoverable. The recoverability of amounts shown for mineral properties and related deferred costs is dependent upon the discovery of economically recoverable reserves, the ability of the Co. to obtain necessary financing to complete the development, and future profitable production from the properties or proceeds from disposition.
