Co. employs a network marketing system, selling its products through approximately 200,000 independent distributors, 2,500 retail stores, and e-commerce outlets over the internet. Distributors belonging to the network marketing system purchase products not only for their own sales efforts, but build and manage their own sales force by recruiting, managing, and training others to sell products. Distributors are compensated with commissions for a percentage of the sales generated by themselves, and by their business group.
