Conifex Timber is engaged in two operating segments: Lumber and Bioenergy Generation. The lumber segment include timber harvesting, reforestation, forest management, manufacture of logs into finished lumber and residual products at sawmills and distribution of its finished products. The bioenergy generation segment include the upgrade and development of the power related assets acquired, subsequent operation of the cogeneration facility to export renewable energy and to provide steam for the lumber kilns, and the pursuit of opportunities in the bioenergy sector.
