K+S provides potash and magnesium products. Furthermore, it includes the waste management and recycling business in Germany. In the area of agriculture, Co. sells fertilizers on almost every continent. They are used, for example, for fertilization of the wheat fields of Europe, the rice terraces of Asia, and the coffee plantations of South America. In the customer segment, Co. combines its business activities with industrial products, products for consumers, and de-icing salts for cities and communities. Co.'s products for consumers include table salt, salt for water softening, and dishwashing salt. Household packs of de-icing salt for consumers supplement the product range in this segment.
