Marksmen Energy is junior oil and gas company engaged in the exploration for, development of and production of petroleum and natural gas properties in Ohio and Western Canada. Co. has entered into a joint venture agreement with an Ohio based operator that includes an Area of Mutual Interest (AMI) of approximately five square miles of exploratory land. To prove up the AMI, Co. completed a 3D seismic program in the first quarter of 2014. A multi-well drilling program began on Apr 30 2014. As of May 30 2014, there have been three wells drilled to total depth with the last one reaching total depth on May 28 2014. The first well was completed and put on production in mid-May.
