Aneka Tambang is engaged in the business in the mining field that processes a number of minerals as well as operating other businesses including industry, trade, transportation, and other services related with mining sector. Co.'s main activity includes exploration, exploitation, processing, refining and marketing of nickel ore, ferronickel, gold, silver, bauxite, coal, alumina and precious metals refining services. As of Dec 31 2014, Co. had five business units, namely Southeast Sulawesi Nickel Mining Business Unit, North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit, Gold Mining Business Unit, Logam Mulia Precious Metals Processing and Refinery Business Unit and Bauxite Mining Business Unit.
