Platinex is an exploration stage company. Co. is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of properties for the mining of precious and base metals. Co. is in the process of exploring its resource properties for mineral resources and has not determined whether the properties contain economically recoverable reserves. The recovery of amounts reported for mineral properties and related deferred expenditures is dependent upon the existence of economically recoverable reserves, confirmation of Co.'s interest in the underlying mineral claims, the ability of Co. to obtain necessary financing to conduct the exploration and upon future profitable production.
