Galleon Gold is engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring and developing mineral properties in Canada and the United States, primarily those containing nickel, platinum group elements, copper, gold, silver and associated base and precious metals. Co. has not yet determined whether its mineral properties contain economically recoverable reserves. The recoverability of the amounts shown for mineral properties is dependent upon the confirmation of economically recoverable reserves, the ability of Co. to enter into joint ventures or obtain financing to successfully complete their development, and upon future profitable production.
