PostRock Energy is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, production and gathering of crude oil and natural gas. Co.'s primary production activity is focused in the Cherokee Basin, a 15-county region in southeastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma, and central Oklahoma. Co. also has minor oil and gas producing properties in the Appalachian Basin. At Dec 31 2014, Co.'s total assets consisted of 3,158 gross and 3,109 net wells capable of production. At Dec 31 2014, Co.'s estimated proved reserves included 119.1 billion cubic feet of natural gas and 4.1 million barrels of oil for a total of 143.90 billion cubic feet equivalent.
