Scope Industries is engaged in the waste food recycling business. Co. and its subsidiaries operate plants for the collection and processing of bakery waste materials into a feed supplement for animals. Co. operates a total of 11 manufacturing facilities throughout the United States under the names of Dext Company, International Processing Corporation, Recycle to Conserve and ReConserve. Co.'s principal customers are poultry farms, dairies, feed lots and pet food manufacturers. Co. also owns and operates a plant in Vernon, CA under the name Topnotch Foods, where certain bakery waste material is processed and converted into edible breadcrumbs for human consumption.
