Tianjin Port Development Holdings' principal activity is investment holding. Co. and its subsidiaries is a port operator at the port of Tianjin and is engaged in container and non-containerized cargo handling businesses, sales business and port ancillary services businesses. Co. has three segments: cargo handling, which provides container handling and non-containerized cargo handling; sales, which focus on the supply of fuel and sales of materials; and other port ancillary services, which provides tugboat services, agency services, tallying and other services. As of Dec 31 2014, Co. had 71 berths for cargo handling, comprising 23 container berths and 48 non-containerized cargo berths.
