Tokyu is mainly engaged in the railway business. Along with its subsidiaries and associated companies, Co. operates in four business segments: Transportation, Real Estate, Life Service, and Hotel and Resort. Co. operates railway lines in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Shizuoka and Nagano prefectures. The Toyoko Line that links the two urban centers of Shibuya and Yokohama, and the Den-en-Toshi Line that is an artery providing access to central Tokyo, as well as the Setagaya Line, which is a streetcar line. Co. is also engaged in the operation of bus transportation, department stores, shopping centers, golf courses and hotels; the sale and leasing of real estate; the cable television business; and others.
