United Plantations is engaged in the business of oil palm and coconut cultivation and processing on its plantations in Peninsular Malaysia. Co. operates within three segments: plantations segment, which is engaged in the business of oil palm and coconut cultivation and processing on its plantations; palm oil refining segment, which is engaged in the business of palm oil processing, manufacturing of edible oils, fats, soap products, cocoa butter substitute and trading in crude palm oil and palm oil products; and the other segments, which consist of bulking facilities which carries on the business of handling and storage of vegetable oils and molasses.
