Universal Energy is a small independent energy company engaged in the acquisition and development of crude oil and natural gas leases in the U.S. Co. pursues oil and gas prospects in partnership with oil and gas companies with exploration, development and production capability. As of Dec 31 2010, Co.'s prospect areas consisted of land in Louisiana and Texas. As of the same date, Co. had had four producing wells and its total proved natural gas and oil reserves were 120.3 million cubic feet equivalent, which comprised of 1,041 barrels of liquids and 114.1 million cubic feet of gas.
