The Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Energy Select Sector Index (the Index). The Index includes companies from the following industries oil, gas and consumable fuels, and energy equipment and services. In seeking this objective, the Fund uses a replication strategy. As of Sept 30 2015, the Fund's total assets were $11,695,378,933 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $11,677,702,413.
